Responsibilities:

• Performing routine monitoring tasks to ascertain system performance and optimizing system parameters.
• Liaison with technical team on the maintenance and enhancement of trading and monitoring systems.
• Following the company’s operational procedures and internal controls in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitoring and analyzing client’s trading activities and exposures.
• Monitoring group exposures (market risk).
• Provide operational support including processing of corporate actions.
• Providing internal support to the client facing team on trading related inquiries.
• Communication with counterparties.
• Keeping up to date with financial markets information and conducting market research.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable interest in financial markets.
• University/College degree in Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science/Engineering or other STEM field.
• Experience working with SQL databases.
• Experience of using Python for analytics.
• Self-starter, proactive and move fast.
• Open-minded and cooperative.
• Team orientated and looking to joining a tight-knit team.
• Adaptable problem solver, looking for alternative solutions.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
