We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Stack Software Engineer – Team Lead to join and lead our Internal Development team, focusing on building, maintaining, and improving internal tools and services that empower our business operations. You’ll be responsible for driving technical excellence, managing a small team of developers, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, maintainable, and secure internal software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of developers, providing training, career development, and technical guidance.
- Participate actively in recruitment efforts to grow the team with high-quality engineers. Design, develop, and deploy internal tools and platforms using Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, SRE, HR, Finance, etc.) to gather requirements and prioritize development tasks.
- Own and maintain the technical roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of features and improvements.
- Enforce best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and technical documentation.
- Conduct regular code reviews and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, with a focus on long-term, scalable solutions.
- Ensure all internal services comply with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead, managing engineering teams and solving technical challenges.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in Python.
- Broad technical skill set – a generalist who can handle a range of domains and problem areas.
- Strong full-stack ownership mindset: comfortable across the entire software development lifecycle.
- Solid experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with one or more Python web frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, Django). Familiarity with modern JavaScript libraries or frameworks (e.g., Node.js, React, Angular).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Business level proficiency in English or above (equivalent to B2 or above in CEFR)
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Vue.js).
- Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP
