As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing performance marketing campaigns and providing actionable insights to drive our marketing strategy. You will work closely with the marketing team to evaluate campaign performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements. Your technical skills in data analysis, along with your strong background in math and statistics, will be crucial in optimising our marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse performance marketing campaigns across different channels (Google, Facebook, affiliates, etc.) to assess their effectiveness and ROI
- Develop and optimise complex SQL queries to manage and analyse large datasets
- Use Python/R for data analysis, exploration, and to build predictive models
- Create and maintain dashboards to visualise key marketing metrics and performance indicators
- Identify trends and insights from data to recommend and implement improvements in marketing strategies
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute A/B tests and other experimentations to optimise campaign performance
- Utilise your strong background in maths and statistics to conduct rigorous data analysis and ensure the accuracy of insights and recommendations
- Adapt to new technologies and tools to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes
Requirements:
- Advanced Data Skills: Demonstrated mastery in crafting and optimising complex SQL queries and managing large datasets. Proficiency in Python/R for data analysis and exploration. Ability to build dashboards as needed
- Problem-solving and Adaptability: Exceptional problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges, coupled with the adaptability to learn and implement new technologies and tools as needed
- Business level proficiency in English or above (equivalent to B2 or above in CEFR)
Other qualifications:
- Experience in marketing analytics
- Familiarity with marketing platforms (Google, AppsFlyer)
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Proficiency in Tableau
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with a background in math and statistics
- Knowledge of Python/R and data visualisation tools
- Experience with performance marketing channels and tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner
- Highly organised with strong attention to detailPractical experience with API integrations and connecting systems, particularly with third-party services such as Google, Facebook, Firebase, and AppsFlyer AND/OR proficiency in Python for script writing, task automation, and improving integration processes.
